We get strong without bulking unduly, we get muscle without getting slow, we get fast without wearing ourselves out. Getting the most stimulus with the least work is our kind of intelligent laziness; an ethic for the working man or woman who can't go through the rest of the day sore and worn. We don't 'work ourselves out', we 'charge ourselves up'.
In a session, whether group or private, we focus on movement integrity, aiming for perfect, graceful execution rather than just churning up the numbers to get a sweat on. You are truly strong when you make something difficult look effortless. You will work hard, but you will also work smart, building your strength-skill as you improve your flexibility, body composition, and mind. My group sessions are modular and flexible so programming can be tweaked to work strength, endurance, power, or hypertrophy, even as we strive together.
The tools we use are kettlebells, bodyweight, and odd objects (sandbags, medicine balls, ropes, etc). We do the basics and we do them well. Whether you're a mother wanting to get fit, a middle school athlete, or a young man or woman prepping for your military entrance testing, my methods will get you where you're going.
